Lampuuk Beach

Lampuk Beach located in lhokhnga district, Aceh besar. it's have a white sand and it was very beautiful, so this place is perfect place for a recreational area, swimming, sunbathing, fishing, surfing or just enjoy the beautiful atmosphere of the beach. Before the tsunami occurred, this area is a traditional gathering place for the people of Aceh Besar with fishermen residents, clove farmers, PT Semen SAI employee, and others. In this area, there are Seulawah Golf field with panoramic sea background. In the afternoon the beach is rather beautiful and full of charm. Visitors can watch the beautiful sunset, so it does not provide a delight to remember. Around the coast are also many places to eat with the fish vendor who is ready and can be baked to enjoyed directly by visitors.

When the tsunami Aceh, this area includes the area that is very severe condition. Because this area is located in the edge of the beach at the end of the island of Sumatra, the tsunami damage is fatal. Quite a lot of people in this region to become victims. But now this place has been managed by the government again so the visitors can enjoying the beauty of this beach again although the beach in this zone is prohibited to swim because the vortex wave is too dangerous. This region has also been set by local government as a monument tsunami tragedy.
