West Sumatera

West Sumatra located in middle of Sumatra island with 42,297.30 km ² large area. This province has a low in the west coast, and high vulkanik formed Bukit Barisan which extends from northwest to southeast.

the province is famous with the cultural, there are Minang culture famously with traditional house (Gadang House)and the Malin Kundang legend. the province is also have interesting traditional arts such as umbrella and plates dance. Therefore west sumatera popular with cultural tourism. but in West Sumatra also has the potential of nature tourism, such as Maninjau Lake and cool atmosphere in Bukittinggi.
